Insomnitol Chewable tabs
Insomnitol Chewables are great tasting, lemon-flavored tablets formulated to support quality sleep and the promotion of calming brain activity. They feature melatonin, a multifunctional hormone whose main role lies in its involvement in the circadian (day/night) biological rhythms, and 5-HTP, a precursor to the neurotransmitter serotonin. These tablets also contain vitamin B6, inositol and l-theanine in order to further help promote the natural ability to fall asleep and stay asleep.
Suggested Use:
Adults: Take 2 chewable tablets once a day, 30-45 minutes before bedtime. Do not drive or use machinery for 5 hours after taking melatonin. For use beyond 4 weeks, consult health care practitioner.

Cautions and Warnings
Consumption with alcohol, other medications or natural health products with sedative properties is not recommended. If you are taking one of the following medications, consult a health care practitioner prior to use: anticoagulant, anticonvulsant, blood pressure medications, immunosuppressive medications, sedative, hypnotic or psychotropic medications, or steroids. If you have one of the following conditions, consult a health care practitioner prior to use: asthma, cardiovascular disease, chronic kidney disease, depression, diabetes or hypoglycaemia, hormonal disorder, immune system disease, liver disease, migraine, or seizure disorders. Consult a health care practitioner if sleeplessness persists continuously for more than 3 weeks (chronic insomnia). Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are taking carbidopa or drugs/supplements with serotonergic activity. These may include, but are not limited to, L-tryptophan, S-adenosylmethionine (SAMe), St. John’s wort, antidepressants, pain killers, over the counter cough and cold medication containing dextromethorphan, anti-nausea medication and anti-migraine medication. Discontinue use and consult a health care practitioner if you show signs of weakness, oral ulcers, or abdominal pain accompanied by severe muscle pain or if you experience skin changes. Consult a health care practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen.
Contra-Indications
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, do not use this product. Do not use if you have scleroderma.
Known Adverse Reactions
Mild gastrointestinal symptoms (nausea, vomiting, or cramping) have been known to occur in which case, discontinue use. Rare allergic reactions have been known to occur in which case, discontinue use. Some people may experience drowsiness. Exercise caution if operating heavy machinery, driving a motor vehicle or involved in activities requiring mental alertness. Some people may experience diarrhea, nausea, vomiting and abdominal pain.
