Betula Pendula is a European white birch. By species, this birch trees root system has a drier propensity comparative to its cousins. It is a resilient tree that can colonize in dry, sterile, uncultivated land or regenerate a silicic rich forest in the process of degradation.
The primary therapeutic indications of these buds revolve around the growing or regenerative osteoblastic actions on bone health especially when combined with Abies Alba for children and adolescents who suffer from demineralizing conditions. It is also indicated in nervous system depletion and intellectual exhaustion. Betula Pendula has a short lived immune stimulating effect, and is thus useful in the treatment of acute infections.
