Utiva Urinary Tract Infection Control provides 36 mg of cranberry PACs (proanthocyanidins) per capsule measured by DMAC/A2). Cranberries are recognized to help prevent UTIs but it has been identified that PACs are the active molecules that help stop a diverse range of bacteria from sticking to the bladder wall and causing infections. Cranberry PACs are recommended by professional medical guidelines as a non-antibiotic prophylactic option to prevent UTIs.
1 small Utiva UTI Control capsule provides the equivalent of about 9 standard cranberry capsule’s quantity of PACs.
Each batch produced in Canada is tested to ensure there is signficant anti-adhesion activity against bacteria.
Prevention: Take 1 capsule daily around the same time, with or without food.
Sex-associated or symptomatic: take 2 capsules the day of and 2 more 24 hours later.
