Tetrahydrocurcumin (Curcumin C3 Reduct) is a patented reduced form (metabolite) of curcumin and is colourless, so don’t be alarmed if you don’t see that rich orange hue you may be used to. Curcumin converts enzymatically into C3, inside the intestine before getting absorbed in the body. This reduced form has a very potent antioxidant effect.
Amla has a very high ORAC score (Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity) which measures the total antioxidant power it has to “mop up” toxins.
This amla extract called Saberry is still a rich source of vitamin C, but it is uniquely standardized to contain 10% β -Glucogallin, and 3% gallic acid.
These are two important and well-researched bioactive molecules related to some of the cardiovascular and blood sugar management properties. Together the combined antioxidant effect can be helpful in cardiovascular and metabolic disorders.
