Medicinal Ingredients

Non-Medicinal Ingredients
Microcrystalline cellulose, HPMC (capsule), ascorbyl palmitate, silica.
Recommended Dose
Adults: Cholesterol-lowering: Take 3 capsules (1.5 g) 3 times daily, 30 to 60 minutes before meals.
Consult a healthcare practitioner for use beyond 8 weeks.
Laxative: Take 3 to 6 capsules (1.5 g to 3 g) 3 times daily.
• Take with at least 240 ml liquid (water, milk, fruit juice or similar aqueous beverage). Not to be taken immediately before bedtime. Take 2 hours before or after taking other medications.
• Taking this product with insufficient liquid may result in choking and/or esophageal blockage/obstruction of the throat, esophagus or intestine
Storage
Keep tightly closed in a cool, dry place out of reach of children.
Cautions and Warnings
Consult a healthcare practitioner prior to use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding or have diabetes. Do not use if you have difficulty swallowing. If you experience chest pain, vomiting, or difficulty swallowing or breathing after taking the product, seek immediate medical attention. Loose stools, flatulence, diarrhea, and abdominal discomfort have been reported.
Caution for use as a laxative: Consult a healthcare practitioner prior to use if you have symptoms such as abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting or fever (as these could be signs of abnormal constrictions of the gastrointestinal tract, diseases of the oesophagus and/or the superior opening of the stomach,
potential or existing intestinal blockage, paralysis of the intestine, megacolon, faecal impaction, inflamed
bowel or appendicitis). Consult a healthcare practitioner if symptoms worsen or if laxative effect does
not occur within 7 days.
