Licorice and curcumin (high dose) are considered unsafe during pregnancy. Safety data is lacking for use during lactation, and in children, though no specific contraindication is known. Do not use if you have hypokalemia, high blood pressure or a kidney or cardiovascular disorder, or if you have a bile duct obstruction. Hypersensitivity is known to occur, in which case, discontinue use.
