Lidtke L-Tryptophan is a staple of professional show dog and racehorse handlers, helping their animals remain calm during performance.
One-third (1/3) level teaspoon (500 milligrams) for every 50 lb of body weight, given in the evening or as directed by your pet’s doctor. If your pet is under 50 lb, powder may be given as directed by your pet’s doctor. Allow sixty days for full benefit. Best if given between meals with a snack low in protein. High-protein meals contain other amino acids that compete with L-Tryptophan. As with any supplement, work up to the proper level gradually. Do not exceed four (4) grams per day unless directed by your pet’s doctor. Discontue use if adverse reaction occurs.
