Lactase helps prevent symptoms of lactose intolerance (including gas, bloating, cramping and diarrhea). Alpha-galactosidase helps reduce gas production/flatulence following a meal rich in fermentable carbohydrates (such as vegetables, pulses/legumes/beans and whole grains).
